This disclaimer is an agreement between VIP-Inspections and their inspectors herby known as VIP and the Customer ordering the inspection herby known as the client. There is no warranty expressed or implied and there is guarantee in connection with this inspection. This is a visual inspection only and will include the components of the vehicle that are readily available and visible during the inspection.

There will be no components removed to gain access to other components. There will be no diagnosis as to issues with the vehicle. There will be no compression test performed or any other type of diagnosis performed during the inspection.

The inspector performing the inspection will view the vehicle and report on the condition of the vehicle that is visually accessible and provide his professional opinion as to the condition of the vehicle as seen through the inspector’s point of view at the time of the inspection. Components that are covered, blocked or inaccessible will not be included in the inspection process.

The client agrees and understands that any special requests for the inspection will need to be made prior to the inspection appointment. The inspector will handle all special requests with a reasonable effort. Not all special requests can be met due to the limited scope of the inspection process.

The client agrees and understands that VIP will provide an inspection report based on a visual assessment of the components that are visually accessible during the inspection. VIP will not provide any type of lift or floor jack to jack up the vehicle. If the client wants to have the vehicle lifted for the inspection (which VIP highly recommends they do), it will be the responsibility of the client to arrange with the seller to have the vehicle lifted for inspection.

The client agrees and understands that VIP will not operate the vehicle during the inspection. VIP will not road test the vehicle or operate the vehicle whatsoever for the purpose of the inspection or otherwise. If the client wants to have the vehicle road tested for the inspection (which VIP highly recommends they do) it will be the responsibility of the client to arrange a test drive be performed by the seller of the vehicle and VIP will ride as a passenger to observe the operation of the vehicle.

The client agrees and understands there is no liability by VIP for damages occurred during the test drive or operation of the vehicle. The responsibility is on the seller who will be the operator of the vehicle for the test drive.

The client agrees and understands the limit of liability for this inspection and any claims that arise from this inspection will not exceed the cost of the inspection.

There will be no further compensation to the client if there are disputes in the content or accuracy of this inspection.

The client agrees and understands the reported condition of the vehicle and the components of the vehicle were as they were at the time of the inspection. Vehicle components can fail suddenly at times, especially electrical items. VIP will not be responsible or provide reimbursement for items that were reported as operational at the time of the inspection if they are not working with the client receives the vehicle.

The client agrees and understands that many aspects of the inspection are subjective, and the inspector will provide the report based on their point of view at the time of the inspection, which may or may not differ from the client’s point of view when reviewing the inspection report. In other words this is an individuals opinion of the information provided and opinions differ greatly.

The client agrees and understands that VIP is not responsible in any damages that occur during the shipment of the vehicle. The client agrees and understands that VIP will not be responsible for any parts that are removed or switched by the seller or any other person between the time of the inspection and the delivery of the vehicle.

The client agrees and understands that VIP is not providing a value assessment of the vehicle. VIP is not providing an appraisal on the vehicle. VIP will provide an evaluation of the vehicle at the time of the inspection. VIP will not provide a recommendation of whether to purchase a vehicle or not. VIP will provide a visual inspection of the vehicle and provide a report and photographs of the vehicle condition at the time of the inspection. The client may use the report as a part of their decision but should not base their decision solely on the inspection report provided by VIP. There are also other options in the industry to obtain additional information on the vehicle to assist in the decision. A vehicle history report for example.

The client agrees and understands that VIP will not be liable for any damages due to hidden defects or damages to the vehicle. The client agrees and understands that VIP will not be liable for any damages from flood, hidden accident damage, acts of God, tampering or vandalism. The client agrees and understands to the limit of liability policy of VIP.

The client agrees and understands that although every effort is made to provide an accurate evaluation of the vehicle at the time of the inspection some items can be over looked. VIP encourages the client to look over the report and the photos closely to determine if there were any items that were not reported accurately. VIP will gladly review any items the client questions during their review and if justified will correct that item on the final inspection report.

The client agrees and understands once an inspection order is placed and assigned to an inspector prior to the inspectors being in route to perform the inspection there will $25.00 charge for cancellation. If the inspector is already in route to perform the inspection there will be a 50% charge of the original inspection fee. If on arrival the vehicle has been sold or the seller or vehicle are not available for any reason to complete the inspection there will be no refund whatsoever.

The client agrees and understands that VIP will not communicate with the seller on the client’s behalf other than to schedule and perform the inspection. VIP will not negotiate with the seller to provide a lower cost of the vehicle or any other “Buyer Agent” functions for the client.

The client agrees and understands that there are a lot of issues that will affect the accurate reporting of a vehicles condition. If the vehicle is dirty, cluttered, in poor lighting conditions or poor weather it will affect the accuracy of the inspection. VIP is not responsible for inaccuracies in the report if the seller has not properly prepared the vehicle for the inspection.

The client agrees and understands he may not hold VIP or any affiliates liable for any mechanical, electrical, hidden or undetected damages by the seller or any other failures that occur after the vehicle is purchased.

By proceeding with ordering and authorizing payment of this inspection through VIP-Inspections the client unconditionally understands and agrees to the foregoing terms.
